Glamping Experience in Foster in South Gippsland, Victoria

A unique Glamping Experience, on a 10 acre environmentally protected Tree fern oasis, surrounding paddocks have by Alpaca, Sheep, Cows.

There are daily opportunities to see Grey Kangaroo, Wallabies , Wombats and Deer grazing near by.
The space
Swap your swag for a bed, your sleeping bag for luxury linen, and discover glamping in the great outdoors in the Gippsland green hills, just over 2 hour from the bustle of Melbourne! This really has the 'WOW' factor - Glamping among the 100 year old tree ferns and under the stars.

We offer a private secure eco retreat, entirely off the grid and eco friendly, low impact to the surrounds, this location is the last little pocket of forest that is privately owned, adjacent to a national park, and only 2 min drive to center of Foster, and within 30 min of  Wilson's Promontory.

Up a short driveway, to the start of the property on the right, you will find the tent is located. You will be surrounded by wildlife and the Australian Bush. The local bird life is un-paralleled, a must see for bird lovers. The area is also home to some critically endangered species like the blue burrowing crayfish. You will have your own fully functioning kitchen, with gas cook top, sink (outdoor), all plates, cups and other cooking needs covered. You also have your own private camping shower, with a dry eco toilet. You will be provided with bio degradable nature safe shampoo and body wash.

The views are stunning at day time, and then at night time….you will have access to the tent with in winter its outside fireplace, and inside electric heating.

The following is included in base price:
• in-tent solar power supply
• pillow top queen mattress with electric heated blanket
• 2-person Doona
• blankets, pillows, throws
• towels, soap
• all cooking utensils, pans, plates, bowls, cups, cutlery and wine glasses
• Coffee, Tea, Sugar
• in-tent dome light and candle light
• in-tent table and poufs set
• in-tent fan during the warmer months (January – March)
What you need to bring
For the most part, we will provide all the camping essentials so you don’t need to worry about packing the bulky items.
All you need to do is pack an overnight bag, hat, sunscreen, bug spray (we are enjoying the outdoors after all) some food and drinks and leave the rest to us. Winter time: please bring suitable attire to keep you warm, we recommend bringing thermal under layers.
Other things to note

Cooking in the tent is strictly prohibited. You can pre-order a customised grazing box from us that will be freshly made for you on the day, or you can use the gas cooktop provided to you in the kitchenette.The space is ideally suited to a couple, with no children and no sleeping arrangements will be made for children due to space limitations. Pets are also not suitable at this location. Weather can be quite unpredictable in Foster, can get rainy and very windy and muddy. We have a 2-day cancellation policy for this reason.
The weather will be checked 1 week before and up to 2 days prior to check-in.
When you make a booking with us, you will accept that a booking may need to be cancelled by you at our request if the weather isn't safe to glamp. We have these rules in place to protect our guests and ensure they get the best experience.
If you don’t mind mild rainy days and want to hear lyrebirds at their happiest, then just bring along your gum boots and rain coats, the experience will be refreshing. We will have some spare gum boots on loan should you forget your own.
We don’t allow visitors without notice only the booked guests. If you will be consuming alcohol, we ask that you drink responsibly. We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask you to leave should you fail to follow these basic behaviour rules.
